Wednesday,July,14,2010

Today we went to have lunch with Sean at his work. It was yummy!!! Everybody loved Terryn cause he kept saying bye bye to everyone and babbling and making a mess. He was eating yogurt and was like i want to look out the window so he walked across the table and started to look out the window. Which was fine but he had yogurt all over his hands and now on the window. Sean also kept introducing us to people and he made some ladies guess my age.It was funny. Some people said 16,18,20,15, and they were shocked i was almost 14. I love Vietnamese people! Next we went to go get some smoothies. Anika and i got strawberry and Sean got mango. Terryn wanted some to so he drank out of Seans but he took Seans straw so Sean got another and this is how they drank.

So cute!!

After we had lunch with Sean we went to the Ben Than Market and bought earrings, necklaces, bracelets, fans for friends. Then we went to the Tax Trade Center and i bought some really cute key chains they were ninjas!!! We met with Sean and had some Carls Junior. It was good but expensive. Then we went to the Fish Spa my favorite thing. We got there and i was kinda nervous but according to Anika i did better than Sean cause i just stuck my feet in and at first they tickled a lot but then i was fine.

The fish were tickling my feet so i was holding back my laugh.

We tried to get Terryn to get his feet in but i didnt work so well at all he kept splashing the water and scared the fish.

Terryn was cuddling Sean and then Terryn wanted to play with the workers which was awesome! Free babysitting!!

Okay so my expression looks weird in this one cause i could not think of a pose so i tried to stick out my tongue but i have a short tongue.

So much fun!!!

Saturday,July,10,2010- Can Gio tour

Today we went took a tour to Can Gio we got at the tour office and waited for our bus. When it arrived it had broken window!!!! Apparently the driver hit like a tree or something like that. Luckily there were not many people on our tour so no one had to sit in the back which was good but we still sat in the very front because of Terryn.

Doesnt this give you lots of confidence in the driver?

It was hot in the morning and the bus was really long and Terryn and Sean was pooped out already!!We had to take a ferry in Nha Be. So after about two hours we arrived at Can Gio where we meet monkeys and crocodiles. So Fun!!

We got out of the bus and some of us had to use the bathroom "Happy House" as our tour guide called it. He warned us not to carry food with us. As we walked to the to the "Happy House" some guy had food with him and out of nowhere this monkey jumped on him and stole his food. It freaked me out a little. Now we know not to carry food with us!

We walked farther down the trail where they had food you could feed the monkeys but they told you not to pull your hand away.

Of course somebody didnt listen, because some lady on the tour from New Zealand had not alot of food in her hand but a monkey took maybe one or two and she pull back her hand. The monkey knew she had more food and attacked this ladys arm. It grabbed her hand, scratched her and bite her. Blood was running down her arm. All of us were seriously freaked out. She was okay but maybe had to get a shot for rabies or something like that. SCARY!!!!!!!!!!

Even though i would not feed the monkeys that didnt stop Sean or Anika feeding them.

Now we went to go see the crocodiles. We had to cross a rickety bridge to where they keep the crocs.

A little blurry but a croc right behind me.

I think this was very scary out of all the tour not because of the crocs but because of the bridge it had broken in some parts. That would be great? walking along and all of a sudden you are with crocodiles thanks but no thanks!

We went on this little water ride to get to this secret base used during wars and no one could ever find it and now i know why so many turns to choose from!! Which way is right??

I was a little freaked out but not as much as Terryn he was holding to Sean with everything .

this is the resort/restaurant we had some Vietnamese styled food. It had rice, eggs, veggies and seafood (octopus, whole shrimp and some sort of fish). Riley was a little intimidated by the food, but i dug right in. I even de-shelled a whole shrimp for the first time.

Here is Riley,me and Terryn posing with our tour guide Hie. He kept flirting with the us on the bus rides. It was pretty funny. I think he even asked Riley for her number at one point, but I couldn't tell if he was serious.

After that we went to get some Sugar Cane Juice it was good. Terryn drank out of Rileys,mine,Seans, and Anikas cup and i think even the tour guide it was funny!

One straw was not enough for Terryn he needed two to finished Rileys.

Sean lifting a water coconut and they are very heavy and the juice was okay but the fruit was nasty!

Some pier and it was very fun but we didnt get home till like 8 cause the bus driver drove a little slow and the bus had to ride a different ferry then us.It was a fun filled day!
